Bondfire Radio’s Cognac Time names Aqua League “Producer on Point”
Bondfire Radio’s Cognac Time with MC and radio personality Coole High profiled Ironhorse Music Group’s in-house production team The Aqua League as the show’s Producer on Point segment. The background music for the May 14th episode was provided by the Brooklyn-based songwriting/production team. Here’s the recap:

Tonight’s background music was provided by The Aqua League.
Established in 2002, The Aqua League became the in-house production team for New York-based production company DonProductions. During their tenure, the duo provided music for Coole High, Ciph Diggy, Sleepwalkas, Mojo the Cinematic of Dujeous, Awkword, Top $ Raz, Hasan Salaam, Eternia, Desiree Coleman, Racq Dolo and fellow label mates Euphon and The Sistah.
Their success continued in 2005 when The Aqua League went on to sign a licensing deal with MTV Networks. Their catalog would now be featured on hit shows like Runʼs House, MTV Cribs, Pimp My Ride, the Sucker Free Series, Fake I.D. Club, My Super Sweet Sixteen, Made, True Life and would expand to shows like Kathy Griffinʼs My Life On the D-List and Millionaire Matchmaker and a host of other shows on MTV and VH1.
In 2009, The Aqua Leagueʼs production was featured in the independent film, Rivers Wash Over Me by John G. Young starring Darien Sills-Evans. That same year, The Aqua League would released Doug Simpson’s EP, Sketches. One of the tracks, “Big City”, would be featured on Comedian Owen Smithʼs DVD project, Anonymous. In 2011, through its partnership with licensing company InDigi Music, the production teamʼs song “Big City” would be featured in the $600 million dollar blockbuster Fast Five starring Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Paul Walker.
In 2012, The Aqua League became the recipient of the ASCAP Plus Award, an award from the performing rights organization, which recognizes a songwriterʼs creative contribution to American music.
